Whether you are in the planning stages of your vacation or have arrived in the area and don’t know where to begin, the Comox Valley’s Vancouver Island Visitor Centre is your first stop to create an unforgettable vacation! The Centre also offers a fun and interactive introduction to Vancouver Island from ocean to alpine! Touch a live oyster, identify local trees or explore the region through a touch table of Vancouver Island images. Take a few fun photos of your own and enjoy free WI-Fi so you can catch up on the news at home. There are outdoor picnic tables, pet walking area and a children’s play structure. There is even an e-vehicle charge point.

The Squamish Adventure Centre is located in the heart of Sea to Sky country, 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver and 40 minutes from Whistler. With breathtaking views of the Stawamus Chief, this unique venue is the perfect place to work, meet or play. If you’re passing through, here for the day, or enjoying an extended trip, stop by the Visitor Information Centre to speak with our friendly team! We’re open year-round and are happy to assist. We can help with accommodation bookings and activity suggestions, directions and hot tips on local favorites! We have great souvenirs, accessible facilities, a washroom, free computer use and free Wi-Fi access. Convenient parking is located outside the Revelstoke Visitor Centre for cars and RVs – longer vehicles are encouraged to park westbound on Victoria Rd along the wide paved shoulder.

The Salt Spring Visitor Centre is located in the heart of downtown Ganges at 121 Lower Ganges Rd. Our knowledgeable volunteer counsellors offer a wealth of information and want to ensure you experience an unforgettable visit. Free local maps, ferry and bus schedules, and our brochure can be picked up at any time. We have free wifi and a payphone is conveniently located outside our door. Tour and local buses stop right outside our front door. There is a bicycle rack available and parking is located behind the Visitor Centre.Unfortunately our building is too old to be handicap accessible but if you visit the Chamber of Commerce office at parking lot level, a counsellor will be happy to bring information to you! Shops, galleries, restaurants, parks and more are a short stroll from the Visitor Centre. See you on Salt Spring Island!

The Visitor Centre in New Denver is the hub of local information for travelers, adventure seekers, and those wanting to experience the local Kootenay lifestyle. The Visitor Centre is housed in the historic Bank of Montreal building (built 1897) and the building also contains the Silvery Slocan Museum. Take a stroll though our 100 year old history, or stay in the now, with free wifi access. We are open part-time during May and June, then will be open 7 days a week from July 1st to the Labour day weekend in September.

During the autumn and winter months, the Visitor Centre is not staffed. But you will find self-serve information available, such as maps, schedules, visitor tips and more. So be sure to stop by when visiting. Bowen Island is considered to be one of Vancouver’s best day-trip and getaway destinations, conveniently located one hour from Downtown Vancouver and a scenic 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay. Known for our stunning mountain and ocean views, our accessible forest trails, our rich cultural offerings and our laid-back small -town charm, we invite you to visit anytime of the year. Rich with Kwakwakawakw Culture & History. The Umista Cultural Centre has the famed Potlatch Collection, taken by Canadian Government in 1922. U’mista also has summer programs from Tuesdays to Fridays July and August check their facebook site for schedules closer to summer months. The Alert Bay Library-Museum has many photographs of local history & items from early settlement years. The Ecological Park has boardwalk through a marsh and short trails surounding the park. Also 16 KM of Island trails that take you through our amazing forest. Art galleries, stroll long the boardwalk, Totem Poles, Big House. T’sasala Cultural Group culture sharing Saturdays in Big House July and August. Culture Shock also has summer programs Saturdays in July and August: Nusa (story telling) with Ada Vera Newman, cedar bark Weaving with Donna Cranmer, traditional sockey salmon BBQ with Anthony Hunt and Gwantilakw Cranmer. We also offer a gift shop with books, jewelry, Nations Creations art design, clothing and souvenirs. Make us your first stop in Oliver!

At Delta’s Official Visitor Centre, we can help you with tourism advice and information on attractions, accommodation and restaurants in Delta & Tsawwassen; the surrounding Metro Vancouver and throughout BC! Free travel planners, camping, golf and wine guides, as well as birding information and cycling maps. We are also the “unofficial” drop-off and pick-up stop for the bike shuttle through the George Massey Tunnel.
