• Mar 10, 2020: “Between the 4 of us, we have skied in all of BCs ski resorts including Whistler. This place is a hidden gem!!!! The ski terrain is nicely laid out with connecting lifts and runs across 4 mountains. Endless runs and mountain choices for all levels. Great little town, with pubs and restaurants. Not a party-place if thats what you need. Definitely if you want to ski, it's impossible to do all the runs in 1 week. Better price point than many other comparable resorts. Not sure why we hadn't discovered this resort earlier?? We all agreed, its now at the top of our list of BC ski resorts. We will definitely return. Our new fav ski spot. Highly recommend. ” 1
• Mar 7, 2020: “We came here with friends who have been coming for the last couple of years with our children with an age range of 4 years old to 15 years old. Ours had never been or hadn’t been for some time probably 10 years since our last ski trip and all of them would come back next year over the standard sun holiday! We were in the East Village walking down to the day lodge is easy enough and there is a shuttle bus too except from 10am & 2pm. Easy enough to do and so helpful with children and ski’s. In the resort there is so much help if you need or ask for it! The ski instructors were brilliant and the children all progressed very quickly skiing confidently and with no accidents just the odd wipe out as they got more daring on our watch not the instructors! The piste from base level skiing to our more adventurous friends was grand there was something for everyone even the grandparents were hitting the slopes and having a ball! I think if you’re wanting to book lessons do it when you get here, our tour operator was a little keen and the jet lag killed the first day. Booking in resort you’ve got more opportunity to book to each persons needs I would definitely do this next time or you can just get going alone! I had a private lesson and it was the best decision for me and it got me going again without doubt I would do the same again next time after such a long break! On my third day I accepted defeat after much agony and got some hire boots the people in the rental shop. They couldn’t have been more helpful and the new boots completely altered my ski experience bearing in mind it had been 10 years a couple of children later and my boots were probably a bit redundant! Bottoms the restaurant/Bar have looked after us well on the feeding and watering front. The store is well stocked but if you want to self cater for the duration a grocery delivery would be best advised and delivery to your accommodation is easily arranged. The pizza delivery was also a firm favourite! We’ve loved it here and if I was looking to relocate it would be here without doubt! I would love to come back in the summer to see the other side of the resort. I would choose Sun Peaks over European ski completely. But sssssh don’t tell everyone as is the mantra of most of us that love Sun Peaks!!” 2
